Hi everybody! I’m Meteorologist Crystal
Wicker and welcome to Weather Wiz
Kids®. I'm a television meteorologist for the ABC affiliate in
Indianapolis, Indiana. I designed this website especially for kids to allow
them to learn more about the fascinating world of weather. It’s also a
wonderful educational website for teachers and parents that gives them the
right tools they need to explain the different types of weather to children.

 EAST COAST SNOW
Residents began digging
out after a raging storm blanketed the East Coast. Atlanta, Georgia received
over 4 inches of snow, while Washington D.C. had 8". From Philadelphia to New
York City to Boston, over 8 inches of snow fell causing flight delays and
cancellations. Most schools in these areas had a snow day.
